At the end of 2025, I completed the Diploma in Dance and Movement Therapy at Dance Therapy Training Aotearoa (DTTA) in Auckland, New Zealand. I also have a Post Graduate Diploma in Creative Arts Therapy from Whitecliffe College and a Master of Fine Arts from Auckland University. Currently, I sit on the Advisory Board of Dance & Arts Therapy New Zealand.
At the moment, I am mostly working in the disability sector with adults with intellectual disabilities and older adults with or without dementia at retirement homes. I also work with private clients who are generally looking for creative outlets using movement and/or art making as a gentle way to support emotional, mental and physical well-being.
My practice is based on a person-centred approach, where I do not seek to instruct, but instead sit beside my clients so that we can explore possibilities together. Essentially looking at how through change, growth is possible.
