Jacinta is a dance movement therapist and graduate of Dance Therapy Training Aotearoa (DTTA). Rooted in the belief that everyone can dance, her practice centres on supporting older adults and children through movement to promote wellness, healing, and mind-body integration.

Jacinta's approach weaves together creativity, empathy, and the power of embodied storytelling. Drawing on her background as a classical ballet teacher - where she worked with children aged 3 to 9 - she brings a playful, nurturing presence to her therapeutic work with younger clients. With older adults, she holds space for movement as a meaningful pathway to connection, expression, and wellbeing, honouring each person's unique relationship with their body and its history.

Her work is grounded in the understanding that movement is a language available to all, regardless of age or ability. Whether working with the natural curiosity of a child or the lived wisdom of an older adult, Jacinta meets clients where they are - using dance and movement as tools for integration, self-discovery, and gentle transformation.
