My work begins with the belief that movement can reconnect us with joy, resilience, dignity, and our inner resources. I bring a gentle, person-centered approach to movement, shaped by both analytical curiosity and artistic sensitivity.
My journey began in physics, but gradually evolved into a deeper exploration of the body through dance, contact improvisation, physical theatre, and dance movement therapy. Today, I work part-time as a dancer and facilitator across India and Germany, creating spaces for creative expression and human connection.
Based primarily in India, I collaborate with different communities and projects. I co-organise the Contact Improvisation community in Delhi, work with Movement Mantra, a movement group for people living with Parkinson’s, and co-create workshops with the Buga Buga Collective, including Jijivisha - “the will to live” - in Raipur.
My experience includes a psychiatric care internship, inclusive dance work with people living with Down syndrome, work with refugees in Germany, children in Delhi, and people living with Multiple Sclerosis. I offer contemporary and improvisation-based classes through Join the Dance, as well as Dance Movement Therapy sessions for individuals and groups, mostly online for German-speaking clients.
For me, movement is not about performance or doing something “right”. It is a way to listen, express, and process the experiences we meet along the path we call life.
